RFA Welcomes New Director of Research
Geoff Cooper Brings Experience to RFA’s Staff
Washington, DC – The Renewable Fuels Association is pleased to welcome Geoff Cooper as its new Director of Research. Cooper joins the RFA from the National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) where he served as Director of Ethanol and Business Development programs for the past five years. Prior to joining NCGA, Cooper was a Captain in the U.S. Army, specializing in bulk petroleum storage and distribution operations.
“The ethanol industry today is on the cutting edge of technology, pursuing new processes, new energy sources and new feedstocks that will make tomorrow’s ethanol industry unrecognizable from today’s,” said RFA President Bob Dinneen. “The RFA is committed to supporting new technologies through research to build upon the industry’s advancements, which will be critical to the future growth of the biofuels industry. Geoff’s qualifications and expertise in this field will be invaluable as ethanol plays an ever-increasing role in America’s future energy sustainability. It is with great pride that I welcome Geoff to the RFA family.”
“I am excited and honored to be working for the Renewable Fuels Association,” Cooper said. “I look forward to working closely with the association’s staff and members to expand and promote the important role of renewable fuels in the United States.”
Cooper will be working out of RFA’s newly acquired offices in Saint Louis, Missouri.
